About the Artist

My name is Katherine Olenic; I am an artist and instructor at Homer Watson Gallery, Elora center for the Arts, and Maggiolly Art Studio as well as a private art classes instructor.

As a digital artist who has been drawing my whole life, I create fantasy illustrations with vibrant colors and with a sense of wonder to nature.
​
I have a Degree in Digital production and Animation, completed work on various movies including Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Terminator Genesis, and Jurassic World.
Since 2015 I have been a Freelance Artist, creating illustrations for many children's books such as Santa's Day off, Splish Splash born in the bath, and Tree Top Tunes.
Art is my main love, but when I am not drawing or painting, I enjoy hiking, reading, swimming, embroidery, baking, and binge-watching tv shows.
